Yesterday it was in the rural newspapers and farm journals, now the story made it’s way on to San Diego:  From San Diego Channel 6 News:

Several shoppers San Diego 6 News spoke to leaving the Albertsons in Kearny Mesa voted for Proposition 2.

“I’m very concerned about the well being of all animals and particularly farm animals,” one Prop. 2 supporter said.

However, all of them said given the choice they’d still buy the cheaper eggs. San Diego 6 News explained that under the Proposition 2, the cheapest eggs would likely come from caged chicken farms from out of state.

Just as long as everyone felt good about about themselves in the voting booth, that’s all that really matters.
