Meg Whitman’s campaign for governor is not going well. First, her two campaign advisers, Steve Schmidt and Adam Mendelsohn, quit only weeks after they were hired. [PolitickerCA] Now, Whitman lost an attempt to force the owners of “meg2010.com” and “megwhitman2010.com” to turn the names over to her. Apparently, the name “Meg Whitman” is too common. [Out-Law]
Since the state legislature is so useless are we better off turning legislating into a part-time job/hobby and forcing our lawmakers to get day jobs like the rest of us? [Fresno Bee]
